Meet The Team

Meet Leyla Gaines

Co-owner of Oklahoma Custom Drainage Solutions & Construction

My journey into the drainage and construction industry began with a simple yet powerful mission: to address a pressing need in my community. From an early age, I was drawn to craftsmanship—spending time in my grandpa’s woodshop at just three years old sparked a lifelong passion for building and creating with my hands. This love for hands-on work, paired with my dedication to helping others, laid the foundation for what would eventually become Oklahoma Custom Drainage Solutions & Construction (OCDS&C).

Before starting OCDS&C, I spent years working in corporate customer service, where I saw firsthand how often clients were left feeling frustrated and overlooked. They were passed from one department to another, placed on hold, or simply made to feel like they didn’t matter. I knew that if I ever started my own business, the customer experience would be at the heart of everything. Clients deserve to feel heard, valued, and prioritized—and that’s exactly what we strive for every day at OCDS&C.

Combining my customer service expertise with a lifelong love of craftsmanship, I co-founded OCDS&C to address the unique challenges homeowners face, particularly in drainage and construction. From unpredictable weather delays in Oklahoma to the stress of tackling home improvement projects, our team is dedicated to keeping clients informed, calm, and confident every step of the way.

OCDS&C is more than just a business—it’s a family. With fifth-generation construction professionals on our team, we bring a deep-rooted pride in our craft to every project. Whether it’s improving drainage systems, safeguarding homes, or delivering custom drainage& construction solutions, our work reflects our unwavering commitment to quality and care.

I’m incredibly proud of the impact we’re making, not only for our clients but also for our community. At OCDS&C, we’re building more than homes—we’re building trust and lasting relationships.

Meet Courtney Henderson

At OCDS&C, our focus is on family. My journey began in the medical community, where I learned the importance of care, compassion, and attention to detail. My husband, Tannor, is not only a fourth-generation construction professional but also one of our project foreman. When I transitioned into the construction industry, I knew I could apply the same level of care to our clients as I did to my patients. My goal is to ensure that every client receives the highest level of service and guidance, especially during the often stressful process of home- improvement.

Tannor and I are the proud parents of the littlest member of our construction crew. His primary position is Daddy’s #1 Assistant and Poppa’s Right Hand Man. Our family-oriented values shape everything we do at OCDS&C, and we’re committed to treating each project with the same care and attention we give to our own loved ones.

  • Each job is unique and depends on the project’s scope. Most projects, like simple patios with minimal excavation, are completed within a week. About 85% of our jobs are finished in a week or less, but factors like permits and state safety requirements for digging can affect the timeline.

  • Yes, we can pour concrete in cold weather. We use specialized techniques and materials to ensure proper curing and long-lasting results even in lower temperatures.

  • Weather can impact timelines, particularly during heavy rain or extreme conditions. We monitor the forecast closely and will communicate any necessary adjustments to ensure quality and safety.
